TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF VANDALIZING YUCCA VALLEY SUPERMARKET

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Sunday, accused of breaking the windows at a Yucca Valley grocery store. According to a Sheriff’s report, Daven Pacheco, 26, threw rocks through the front windows of the “old” Stater Brothers grocery store in the 57000 block of 29 Palms Highway about 3:15 Sunday. The property damage was estimated at about $2500. The store manager detained Pacheco until deputies arrived. Daven Pacheco was arrested for investigation of felony vandalism, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
