A Twentynine Palms father had his 22-year-old son arrested after he said his son caused more than $1000 in damage inside his home. The man said Jacob Urquidez of Twentynine Palms broke an Apple iPad, bathroom mirror and other fixtures, and damaged walls in the living room and bathroom. The damage was estimated at $1,125. Urquidez had left the home by the time deputies arrived a little after 1 p.m., but he was located during an area check. Urquidez allegedly admitted to causing the damage. Jacob Urquidez was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $25,000.
