A Twentynine Palms man was arrested late Tuesday night, accused of attacking a man with a stun gun and flashlight. According to Sheriff’s reports, Joseph Huffman, 50, was at a home in the 71500 block of Florida Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 3 a.m. Saturday morning when the victim said Huffman used a taser on him and hit him with a flash light. Huffman had fled the scene by the time deputies arrived on Saturday. On Tuesday at about 8:20 p.m., deputies stopped Huffman’s vehicle on Highway 62 near Encelia Avenue. Joseph Huffman was arrested for investigation of assault using a stun gun and assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $150,000.
