TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING TO SHOOT NEIGHBOR

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly threatened to shoot a neighbor. Deputies were called to the 5900 block of Bagley Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 12:15 p.m. The victim told deputies that Damien Wilkerson, 18, jumped the fence to cut through the yard. When the resident told Wilkerson to leave his yard, Wilkerson started arguing with the resident, and then, the resident said, Wilkerson said he would come back and shoot him. Deputies located Damien Wilkerson on Sunnyvale Drive, a few blocks away, and arrested him for investigation of making criminal threats, booked him in to the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
