TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING PEOPLE WITH A KNIFE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested early Tuesday morning, accused of threatening people with a knife. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6500 block of Oasis Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 9:15 p.m. Monday night, because a man, later identified as Troy Plummer, 20, had come to the front door with a pocket knife and threatened the resident. Plummer also allegedly punched the resident in the face and charged with the knife, as well as threatened the resident’s son with the knife. Plummer was gone when deputies arrived, but he was located just after midnight in a nearby apartment. Troy Plummer was arrested for investigation for attempted assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
