TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING HIS PARENTS

A 22-year-old Twentynine Palms man was arrested Sunday, accused of threatening his parents. According to a Sheriff’s report, Colby Thomason, was arguing with his mother and father in the 6400 block of Palm View Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 1:45 p.m. Sheriff’s dispatchers could hear the argument, “He hit me seven times in the face,” and another man saying, “If they call the Sheriff, they better bring the ambulance. Dispatchers also heard someone say, “If he calls the sheriff, he’s going to jail;” and other people screaming. After an investigation, Colby Thomason was arrested for investigation of making terrorist threats and battery causing serious injury, booked at the Morongo Basin jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
