A Twentynine Palms man was arrested late Thursday night, accused of beating on a woman. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies received a report of a man beating a woman, who was bleeding, in the 75100 block of Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms about 11 p.m. Thursday. The caller also said the man, later identified as Gary Harris, 40, had bit the woman in the cheek. After an investigation, Gary Harris was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
