A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly threatened to kill the mother of his children. According to a Sheriff’s report, the woman called for help about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning to say that Corey Sloss, 49, a civilian telecommunications instructor with Marine Corps Communications and Electronics School on board the Marine Base, was following her and had threatened to kill her if she did not get back together
with him. After an investigation, Corey Sloss was arrested for making criminal threats, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
