A Twentynine Palms man was arrested early Sunday morning, accused of deliberately hitting another man with his vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, Russell Pasos, 43, was arguing with the victim about 2 a.m. in the 6200 block of Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms. Pasos allegedly got in his vehicle and hit the victim twice, injuring his right leg and left forearm. After an investigation, Russell Pasos was arrested on suspicion of assault with a weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and released on $50,000 bail bond.
