TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF HAVING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday (March 11), accused of being in possession of child pornography. On January 20, detectives from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station received two reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a suspect who uploaded images of child pornography to his cloud storage account. Detectives identified the suspect as Scott Larson II, 33, and an arrest warrant was issued for Larson. Thursday, deputies served a search warrant at Larson’s residence in the 73400 block of Two Mile Road in Twentynine Palms. Scott Larson II was arrested for investigation of being in possession of child pornography, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
