TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF GRAND THEFT

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday, accused of grand theft. About 10 a.m., a deputy stopped Thomas Furney, 34, near Cactus Drive and Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms. During the investigation, the deputy determined that Furney was in possession of stolen property. Thomas Furney was arrested for investigation of grand theft, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
