A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday, accused of spouse abuse, after his victim went to the hospital with injuries. According to a Sheriff’s report, Christopher Sansoucie, 33, was in an argument with a woman in the 1400 block of Indian Cove Road about 8:30 a.m. Friday. During the argument, the woman said Sansoucie punched her with his fist in her abdomen. On Saturday, about 10:30 a.m. Sansoucie and the woman got in another argument, and Sansoucie allegedly punched her again with his fist in the kidney area. The woman went to Hi-Desert Medical Center and told staff that Sansoucie had held her hostage; staff then called law enforcement. After an investigation, Christopher Sansoucie, was arrested on suspicion of spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
