A Twentynine Palms man was arrested early Saturday morning, accused of hitting his wife and pulling her hair. Deputies were called to the 7400 block of Kellogg Avenue about 2 a.m. for a report of a man and woman yelling at each other. After an investigation, Craig Carter, 44, was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, and for breaking the terms of his bond for a charge of transporting drugs from November. Craig Carter was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and released on $100,000 bail.
