A Twentynine Palms man was arrested, accused of having a large amount of drugs in his possession. Deputies contacted Peter Wolik, 39, about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, December 10, near Cholla Avenue and Joshua Drive in Twentynine Palms. Deputies determined Wolik was in possession of a controlled substance and that Wolik was a sex offender. Peter Wolik was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
