A Twentynine Palms man was arrested last week, accused of driving while under the influence of drugs. About 4:14 p.m. Saturday, September 19, a deputy made a traffic stop of a vehicle on Adobe Road near South Slope Drive in Twentynine Palms. The driver, Darren Tolbert, 36, who is on probation, displayed signs of being under the influence of drugs. Darren Tolbert was arrested for investigation of violating his probation and for driving under the influence, was booked into West Valley Detention Center, and is being held without bail.
