TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF DRIVING STOLEN VEHICLE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday, accused of being in a stolen vehicle. A deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of Homestead Road and Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms about 11:40 a.m. Inside the car was Gilbert Gonzales, 30. The deputy determined that the car Gonzales was in had been reported stolen. Gilbert Gonzales was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a stolen vehicle, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
