TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday afternoon, after his wife said he beat her. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman called for help about 2:30 p.m. and said Thomas Murphy, 46, of the 4500 block of Adobe Road, punched and slapped her in the face, leaving visible injuries. After an investigation, Thomas Murphy was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
