TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF DEALING HEROIN

A Twentynine Palms man suspected of dealing drugs was arrested early Tuesday morning. About 2:30 a.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle near Sullivan Road and Pine Avenue for not having a rear license plate. During the traffic stop, the deputy determined that the driver, Michael Massey, 22, was in possession of 15 grams of heroin, along with pocket-size scales and drug paraphernalia. Michael Massey was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin for sales, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
