TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF DEALING DRUGS

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday morning, accused of dealing drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy spotted a blue Toyota with an expired registration being driven westbound on Sullivan Road, near Elm Drive in Twentynine Palms about 10:30 a.m. The deputy determined the driver, identified as Gary Ogdahl, 52, was on probation. During a search of Ogdahl, the deputy found a baggy with suspected methamphetamine, and on Ogdahl’s phone, a message from an alleged customer requesting drugs. The deputy then went to Ogdahl’s residence in the 7400 block of Sahara Drive where drugs and paraphernalia were seen in plain sight. Gary Ogdahl was arrested for investigation of transporting or selling methamphetamine, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
