TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF CRIMINAL THREATS

A Twentynine Palms man who threatened his wife was arrested Sunday, accused of making criminal threats. According to a Sheriff’s report, the woman went to a hotel room because she was in a constant state of fear of her husband, later identified as Alfred Espinosa, 33. The report states that Espinosa went to the hotel and started pounding on the door and window for several minutes, until the woman opened the door. The victim told deputies that Espinosa threatened her and raised his fist to her; she said he had previously threatened to kill her. Alfred Espinosa was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
