A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Sunday, accused of sex crimes against a 12-year-old girl. According to a Sheriff’s report, the girl was on the couch when Anthony Martinez, 24, who is a relative of the victim, started kissing and fondling her, despite her protests to stop. Anthony Martinez was interviewed at the Sheriff’s station where he was arrested for investigation of sex crimes against a child under 14. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $250,000.
