TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF CHILD CRUELTY

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday, after he threw a rock through a windshield into a car where his two children were sitting. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6900 block of North Star Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 1:20 p.m. when a woman said David Boyd, 27, just threw something through the windshield of her car, and the glass from the broken windshield landed on her children in the back seat. After an investigation, David Boyd was arrested on suspicion of felony child cruelty, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
