A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday, accused of child cruelty. According to limited information from the Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the 73800 block of Sun Valley Drive about 4 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, deputies requested a search warrant for the home. After an investigation, Christopher Franklin, 31, was arrested on suspicion of cruelty to a child and identity theft. Christopher Franklin was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $100,000.
