The Sheriff’s Department has released almost no information about a Twentynine Palms man who was arrested Monday, accused of child abuse. Deputies were called to the 74300 block of Baseline Road in Twentynine Palms about 6:15 p.m. where they contacted Kevion Cooper, 24. After an investigation, Kevion Cooper was arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
