TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF BURGLARIZING CHURCH

A man was arrested Monday, accused of burglarizing a Twentynine Palms church. According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called just before 7 p.m. to a church near the 6700 block of Utah Trail. The caller said the man, later identified as Bobby Moya, 54, of Twentynine Palms, forced entry into the church and then fled, heading south on Utah Trail. After an investigation, Bobby Moya was arrested on suspicion of burglary, booked into West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $25,000.
