A Twentynine Palms man who was arrested Tuesday after neighbors said he was causing a disturbance, was also accused of bringing drugs into the Morongo Basin jail. Deputies were called to the 6200 block of Cholla Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 11:20 p.m. when neighbors reported a man was harassing them, and then tried to break a window. When deputies arrived, they found Emmanuel Jarrett, 43. Jarrett was arrested for violating his parole. When he was brought to the Morongo Basin Jail, narcotics were located on his person inside the jail. Emmanuel Jarrett was then arrested on suspicion of bringing drugs to a jail and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
