A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Friday (March 5), accused of assault. Deputies were called to the 5900 block of Morongo Road in Twentynine Palms about 8:45 p.m. where the victim said Brandon Koenig, 28, had punched him in the face, causing him to black out and breaking his tooth. The victim was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment. Brandon Koenig was arrested for investigation of assault with serious injuries, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
