A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Friday, accused of assault with a weapon. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim went to a neighbor’s house to help her with her medication. While there, the neighbor’s son, identified as Robert Wallace, 31, began arguing with the victim. The victim went into her neighbor’s bedroom and Wallace tried to force the door open. The victim told deputies that Wallace hit her in the hand, swung a broom at her, and threw tomato juice at her. Robert Wallace was arrested for investigation of assault with a weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
