TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED IN 2017 BURGLARY

A Twentynine Palms man suspected of pawning stolen property was arrested Friday, accused of possession of stolen property. According to a Sheriff’s report, a home in the 6400 block of 49 Palms was burglarized in July 2017. During the investigation, deputies learned that Randy Bryant, 22, had pawned the victim’s property at pawn shops in Arizona and Nevada. On Friday, detectives served a search warrant at Bryant’s home in the 73800 block of Sun Valley Drive. Detectives not only found Bryant, but additional stolen property valued at more than $2,000. Randy Bryant was arrested for investigation of possession of stolen property and violating the terms of his parole, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held without bail.
