The Twentynine Palms Ladycats volleyball team played the Lions of Cathedral City yesterday, beating them in 4 sets, 25-15, 25-11, 21-25, and 25-16.
Kyla Palpallatoc was big at the net with 9 kills and 5 assists for the night.
Jenica Silvas had 2 kills, 2 ace serves, and 6 assists for the cats.
Lindie Stewart lead the team with 4 ace serves, had 2 kills and 3 assists.
Olivianne Ryan had 2 kills and solid defense.
Libero Vivan Grunt defended the back court well all night.
The cats are now 2-1 in league and host the Broncos of Banning on Thursday.
In JV action, Ladycats volleyball won 25-15 and 25-23. Mariah Coriaarmenta served up 11 aces and had 1 kill. Anisa Youso served up two aces and had two kills.
