The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball team hosted the Aztecs of Palm Desert last night and lost in three.
Senior Jayde James was big at the net with eight touches. Freshman Eva Tili was also big at the net with seven touches and four kills. Senior Jenica Silvas played solid defense with eight digs, one solo block and had two kills for the cats.
Sophomore Vivian Grunt had six digs and two kills. Junior Cambria Schneider had five digs. Senior Violet Tucker and Sophomore Seniyah Hawkins each had three kills for the night.
After two matchups, the cats have 55 touches already.
Coach Melissa McGivern says the team is exciting to watch and play with heart.
