The City of Twentynine Palms plans to celebrate its downtown revitalization project, Project Phoenix, through the use of public art. To that end, the City has extended its deadline for artists to submit proposals for a public art installation at the entrance of the Project Phoenix site. The new deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Thursday, August 29. More information and an application form can be found on the bids page of the city’s website at www.29palms.org/bids.
