The Twentynine Palms High School Interact club is accepting donations to provide 360 local families with the ingredients to prepare a Thanksgiving meal, including the turkey. Food items needed are cranberries, roll mix, stuffing, gravy mix, instant potatoes, sweet potatoes, assorted vegetables, pumpkin pie mix, boxed pie crust, and evaporated milk. Donations of cash or non-perishable food items can be brought to Twentynine Palms High School through November 15. The food items will be distributed at the Twentynine Palms High School gym on Saturday, November 23, from noon to 1 p.m. To sign up for the free Thanksgiving meal, call Reach Out Morongo Basin at 760-361-1410.
