What better way for an historical society to raise funds than to go full retro? Tickets are still available for the Twentynine Palms Historical Society’s 2019 Desert Retro Bash this weekend with the theme “Love In – Peace Out.” Guests are encouraged to dig up those go-go boots and suede vests from the 60s and get with it. The evening will include adult beverages, appetizers, desserts, a silent auction, and raffle. The bash, open to members and non-members, will be held on Saturday, April 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Broadview Hacienda, 73452 Sunnyslope Drive, in Twentynine Palms. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Old Schoolhouse Museum Gift Shop from 1 to 4 p.m. or by calling 760-367-2366. Tickets will also be available at the door.
