The Twentynine Palms High School Lady Cat volleyball team defeated the Cathedral City Lions in three sets, 23-16, 25-19,25-24 last night. Lady Cats were led by junior Latvia Benevente with seven kills and two ace serves, followed by junior Courtney Stamford with six kills and two ace serves, and sophomore Tatyanna Makall had four kills and two blocks and three ace serves. Super passing by juniors Allix Durrum and Mckenzie Johnson.
