The Twentynine Palms High School Boys Varsity Tennis team hosted the Lancers of Lakeside high school on Wednesday (May 7) in the first round of CIF playoffs.
The Wildcats won 13 – 5.
In singles action:
Jeremy Burks swept all three of his sets.
Adonai Patu won one of his sets.
Andrew Orozco won two of his sets.
In doubles action:
The team of Michael Acosta/Ryan Hoang won two sets.
The team of William Herrera/Shadd Johnson swept all three of their sets.
The team of Adan Sanchez/Deyon Matthews won two of their sets.
The Wildcats move to the second round of CIF playoffs on Friday (May 9).
