Twentynine Palms High School Track and Field meet results

The Twentynine Palms High School Track and Field team traveled to Cathedral City to face the Lions and Rancho Mirage Rattlers in a non-league tri meet.

The Wildcats were led by the 4×1 and 4×4 relay teams who swept the day winning all 4 races.

Standout performers for the Lady Wildcats were Anea Haynes and Eva Tili.

Anea ran a scorching 400m race with a personal record of 1:02.68 earning a qualifying mark for DVL finals, she also ran the 2nd leg of the winning 4×4.

Eva Tili won the 100 hurdles with a time of 19.77, the 100m, and was the opening leg of the 4×4.

The Wildcats were led by Frankie Diorio and Ayden O’Gilvie who were the 1st and anchor leg of the 4×1 and the third and anchor leg of the 4×4.

Diorio also won his open 400m race, and O’Gilvie won his 110m high hurdle race.

Next up for the Wildcats is their first home meet of the season, Wednesday (March 5) at 4:00 p.m.
