TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS WINS DECISIVELY OVER DESERT MIRAGE HIGH SCHOOL

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat varsity tennis team traveled to Desert Mirage to take on the Rams. The Ladycats came away with a decisive win, 17 to 1.

In singles action, the Ladycats were led by Alicia Gilchrist, Tamesha Jefferson, and Shaelita Chestnut, who swept all three of their sets.

In doubles action the teams of Danny Morrissey/Alexis Soster and Saniyah Solwazi/Rosalind Carrllo, both won two of their sets, while the teams of Emma Romano/Bella Crank, Ethly Amaro/Ashley Cheeks, Natalie Norton/Trinity Bosch, and Samantha Brookins/Emily Stuckey each won one of their sets.

The Wildcats improved to 9 and 2 in league. They host Coachella Valley High School on Tuesday for their last regular season game of the year.
