Twentynine Palms High School Teacher Jamie Anderson has been nominated for the California League of High Schools’ 2019-2020 Educator of the Year award. Anderson co-led the appeal process that resulted in Twentynine Palms High School receiving a full six-year accreditation status, and was instrumental in bringing dual enrollment courses from Copper Mountain College to the high school. Anderson will be recognized at an awards banquet where the overall regional educator of the year will be announced from the field of 10 honorees. The event will be held at the Ontario Airport Hotel, 700 N. Haven Avenue, on Friday, November 22 beginning at 5 p.m.
