TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS TEAM TAKES THIRD OUT OF 34 IN COMPETITION

The Twentynine Palms High School robotics team, the STEAMCATS 2, took third place in their second tournament this year, the California High Desert VEX Robotics Middle School League, at Ranchero Middle School in Hesperia, last Saturday. The STEAMCATS had eight wins and two losses, and placed third out of 34 teams competing. Robotics teams compete in three qualifying events, and teams that earn qualifying scores in each event will move on to the state finals in February. The next tournament is January 14.
