The character of young Evan Goldman moves with his family from New York City to a small town in Indiana. Evan grapples with his parent’s divorce in “13, A New Musical.” Evan prepares for his impending bar mitzvah as he navigates the complicated social circles of a new school. The lead actors in the high school production are: Ethan Flores, Dana Mahelona-Rogers, Herman Johnson, Rodell Laranang and Z107.7’s own Taylor Thacker. The musical opens Friday, April 3, with additional performances Saturday, April 4; Friday, April 10; and Saturday, April 11, all with a 7 p.m. curtain.
Tickets for “13, A New Musical” can be purchased at the door of the Twentynine Palms High School multi-purpose room. General admission is $12; seniors, military and students $10, and $8 for children under 10.
