The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats Volleyball team traveled to Banning High School yesterday (October 3) to take on the broncos and both teams won.
In JV action, the cats won 25-16, 22-25, 15-12. Anisa Youso had solid serves with seven aces. Emma Avalos served up five ace serves and Mariah Coriaarmenta had four. The team collected 5 kills against the broncos.The varsity ladycats won in three sets, 25-15, 25-16 and 25-13. Senior Kyla Palpallatoc had six kills, four assists, four ace serves and five digs. Junior Lindie Stewart has two kills, one ace serve and seven digs. Junior Jenica Silvas put down three kills, had four assists, and two digs. Junior Tui Young served up four ace serves and had three digs. Junior Jayde James had three ace serves, one kill, one dig and one solo block.
The cats are now 7-3 in league and host the Coachella High school on tomorrow (October 5).
