Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats Volleyball sweep West Shores Wildcats

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats traveled to West Shores Thursday night (September 5) to take on the Wildcats. It was a sweep for the ladies with JV winning 25 – 10 and 25 – 3. Varsity won 25 – 15, 25 – 20, and 25 – 17.
In Junior Varsity action Alexis Archuleta was a huge asset serving 13 straight with of seven of them aces, earned herself two more aces, two kills and two assists. Chesse Robinson put down two kills, served up two aces and had three assists. Bella Staggs also put down two kills and had two ace serves.
In varsity action, Sophomore Eva Tili was big at the net with four blocks, putting down six kills and serving up four ace serves. Senior Violet Graham was also big with two blocks and put down six kills. Junior Berlyn McCormick had three kills and one ace serve. Sophomore Sabrina Graham put down two kills, had two ace serves and two assists. Senior Cambria Schneider had two ace serves, one kill and six assists. Freshman Jada Nelson had one ace, one kill and five assists. Junior Lily Romero Gonzalez had two ace serves and put down one kill. Junior Hailey Stephenson had one kill and two assists. Senior Haylie Rodriguez and Junior Vivant Grunt had one ace each and both played solid defense for the cats.
The Ladycats are now 2-4 and travel to Desert Mirage on Saturday (September 6) for a tournament.
