TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL GOLF WINS THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Twentynine Palms High School golf team traveled to Shadow Hills yesterday to complete league play and start first day of individual finals and came out strong to defeat Big Bear and Desert Mirage. Coach Grant Whipple said the ’Cats ended their league season 11-1 and won the DeAnza League championship. In individual finals two out of six players, Brandon Steffins and Justin Delarosa advanced to the second day of individual finals to be played Thursday at the Classic Club.
