TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL LOSES TOUGH MATCHUP FRIDAY

The Twentynine Palms High School football team lost a tough matchup on Friday to a very talented Coachella Valley High School team 46-33.

Coach TJ Stanford said senior quarterback Carson Estrada had 254 yards passing for two touchdowns and one rushing. Senior running back Chris Pacheco had 157 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Defensively, the ’Cats were led by Junior Aiden Sullivan’s 12.5 tackles with five for a loss, and freshman Luke Siduh with five tackles and one interception.
Stanford said he was extremely proud of his kids effort and determination. He wanted to highlight his offensive line that blocked for over 200 yards rushing. He also wants to thank the parents for their support.
The ’Cats travel to Desert Hot Springs Friday for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Eagles.
