The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcats boys’ basketball team traveled to Adelanto to take on the Saints in the quarter finals of the CIF division 3A playoffs last night. The ’Cats were victorious with a 63-58 score. Coach T.J. Stanford said leading the cats was D’Shaun Barrett with 33 points and four assists. Adam Bell had nine points and seven rebounds. Abraham Bell contributed with eight points and 11 rebounds. Javier Soriano played outstanding defense. He and Adam held their best player under his average. The Cats will host Hesperia High School in the semifinals Friday in Wildcat gym. This brings the ’Cats’ record to 25-3.
