TWENTYNINE PALMS HANDYMAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT FROM HIS CUSTOMER

A Twentynine Palms man, who was hired to perform work on a Joshua Tree home, was arrested a week later for allegedly stealing the home’s security camera. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim hired Adam Aversa, 43, to do stucco work on her home in the 61800 block of Rosemary Lane last week. About 7:30 p.m. Monday, the resident called deputies to report that someone broke into her home and stole a surveillance camera and other items. The victim had video of Aversa allegedly removing the surveillance cameras and installing them in his own home. After an investigation, Adam Aversa was arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
