The Twentynine Palms High School Girls Varsity Tennis Team had their Desert Valley League home opener against the Cathedral City Lions yesterday (September 5). The Lady cats beat the Lions 13 to 5.
In singles action, Katelyn Luke swept all three of her sets while Zamyaa Abrille won two of her sets and Aviana Lipkins won one of her sets. In doubles action, the team of Marley Kyle/Addy Simmons swept all three of their sets while Tomi Toyama/Kairi Scott won two of their sets. The team of Chloe Adams/Savanna Villapuadua won one set.
The team of Chloe Adams/ Ca’rrie Bell won one set. The Lady cats are 2-0.
The Lady cats host Banning on tomorrow (September 7).
