Twentynine Palms girls’ basketball team raised their league record to 2 and 0 with their home win over Coachella 82 to 43.
Coach Tim Stanford said the ’Cats’ overall record stands at 7 and 2. Kate Bobadilla led the way with 27 points and four steals. Mary Carbiener had 10 points and four steals; Gianna Bilderain had eight points; Riley King had eight points, six rebounds, and four steals. Taylor Scamman had seven points, four assists, and four steals; and Gabby Mackall chipped in seven points. The entire team contributed to 20 steals overall.
