TWENTYNINE PALMS GIRLS’ BASKETBALL DEFEATS COACHELLA VALLEY

The Twentynine Palms girls’ varsity basketball team won its game over Coachella Valley at home in the first Desert Valley League game of the season by the score of 58 to 34 to start league play 1 and 0.

Coach Tim Stanford said the LadyCats’ overall record stands at 6 and 3. Leading scorers on the night were Bre Bell with 17 points, Kate Bobadilla, with 12 points, Riley King with nine points, and Jordan Stanley with seven points.
